STABILITY & CONTROL
The ACTIVIVAS Ortho Thumb Support is designed to stabilise the thumb joint in a neutral mid position that allows use of the thumb in every day tasks. Unlike large fabric immobilisation braces, the ACTIVIVAS Ortho Thumb Support allows suffcient use of the thumb muscle in a balanced position to aid rehabilitation, retraining the muscles and potentially allowing the reduction in use of the support.
DISCRETE YET EFFECTIVE
In comparison to the traditional immobilising braces which cover the entire hand and wrist, the ACTIVIVAS Ortho Thumb Support significantly restricts the movement of the thumb joint in all directions but crucially still allows the thumb to be engaged in tasks and full movement of the hand and wrist. It is discrete in appearance and can be easily worn under a glove in occupational and recreational situations

EASY CLEANING
The fabric strap of the ACTIVIVAS Ortho Thumb Support is easily removed the support allowing for easy cleaning. The strap can be washed by hand in warm water or on a low temperature gentle washing cycle and the support itself is easily cleaned using mild detergent and warm water. Both parts are dried and ready for use in minutes
